Bio
Writing Journey
As a fresh author, Lovena Sunassee hails from a small town in the south of Mauritius. She is a lover of naps, chocolates, and nature. When she isn’t reading or writing, she’s probably watching horror movies on Netflix or dreaming about being in Hogwarts (Another fanatic of the J.K Rowling world).
She thinks that writing about her experience can inspire and empower young people.
Her journey:
Growing up, she began her career as a customer service agent at the age of 18 and after 4 years of experience in call centre, she felt that her career needed a change and not being a degree holder made her career hunt harder. So, at the age of 26, she opened her company: Smart Float LTD (small but something).
It took her 30 minutes to believe that she could be anything she wants to be (from being an employee to self-employed and author).

Lovena’s letter is filled with words of wisdom, hope and gratitude. Some of the thoughts allow me to draw inspiration from as a writer. Having reminders for myself allows me to grow as an individual. These words that Lovena have mentioned “You don’t need to be perfect because perfect is fantasy”. This is so true in many ways, as we all wish for that fantasy in our life. Even my own fantasy for self actualisation can be fruitful in so many ways. Lovena really makes you feel that her words are a lesson for all of us to follow.
